Hicks is Back and 'Very, very Sorry'

Hicks is back in Australia, and has already been transferred to a maximum security facility in Adelaide - not that the security matches anything that he's had to deal with in Guantanamo Bay. He says he's very, very sorry.

Sure, it's easy to be sorry, once you've committed the crime, and somehow, magically only been sentenced several years for something which may well have sentenced him to life, or even death. He's a lucky terrorist - because we would like to believe that his confession was one of personal admittance, and not one that was forced - and he should be very grateful for this legal loophole which has allowed him to be free within a few months.

Either way, his life is ruined, per sé, since he won't be able to go out and walk through the shopping centres without being suspected of terroristic activity. I personally believe that people wouldn't want David Hicks walking around them, or working at their local grocery shop. It's simply a sight which people could do without, unfortunately.
