According to my closely connected sources, Facebook will be announcing an online music service May 21st. I had thought of utilizing Facebook’s API to add a music feature but that won’t be necessary. Facebook is also lining up various undisclosed partners prior to their launch. I’m amazed that it took them this long, but this will be huge. Myspace music has already been a huge success launching bands such as the Arctic Monkeys into stardom.
