Al Gore is your new bible!
Apparently Hotels in America have changed the usual 'bible' under the nightstand as their supplied book of choice to their customers in exchange for Al Gore's latest book on Global Warming. I guess, it seems, that the Hotel chains have figured that Global Warming has become the most important issue in the recent world, not religious enlightenment.

Here's a Solar Farm!
Now this is something we need more of in Australia. We could put all that barren land out in Western Australia and the Northern Territory to good use. Imagine using the deserts to power the whole of Australia. Imagine that.
Extract:
"We really need a much more aggressive approach on both renewables and (energy conservation) and we're still not getting that," said Dave Martin of Greenpeace Canada.
"The solar project is a small part of the bigger picture and ultimately we're faced with a government that has cancelled its phase-out of coal generation and is planning to invest ... in nuclear power."
Heated water the CHEAP way
What is this thing, you think? Try and look closely and think of the most subtle thing. It's a block of cans. Aluminium cans. What is it for? Water heating of course.
If any of you had done science, you might know that black absorbs heat. So the cans are painted black in order to absorb the most amount of heat from the sun, and the air inside is thus heated from the sun.
Apparently it heats up to 15 degrees higher than what you put into it initially. Quite... fascinating... to say the least. But yeah. I guess if you wanted to make one, you could click the link above.
Improving energy production methods
www.treehugger.com recently wrote an article about improving ways to implement different forms of energy production. It's a website pretty much dedicated to articles about helping global warming, or pertaining to the subject and I'll be referring more blog articles from that website too as I see fit so that you guys don't have to go to it all the time.
The new article I'm talking about is about implementing wind power. They talk about putting these wind structure thingies on highways to help wind generated power. It seems rather interesting to me. Check out the full article here.

Pope says: RESPECT CREATION
i.e. he alludes to the fact that global warming is a real issue and that we needs to stop abusing the environment. The picture provides an adequate lightheartedly attitude of who the Pope really is. Just another happy guy. Very nice.
